The PC100USB-HR shares the same design as the PC100d-HR with optical digital input and the PC200USB-HR with built-in amplifier in the “PC Hi-Res” series. The new PC200USB-HR shares the same design as the PC100d-HR with optical digital input and the PC200USB-HR with built-in amplifier in the “PC Hi-Reso” series. It is a gadget that you want to always have by your side without getting in the way on your desktop.
Basic functions are the same as those of PC100USB-HR.
PC100USB-HR is a 24bit/96kHz Hi-Resolution compatible version of PC100USB, which has become a standard PC gadget with convenient volume control at your fingertips.
It is equipped with a DAC, RCA pin jacks (output) for connection to active speakers such as the PM series, and a PHONES jack for connecting headphones. It can also be used as a headphone amplifier.
When headphones or other devices are connected to the PHONES jack, they are not output to the RCA pin jacks (output).
USB bus-powered operation eliminates the need for a separate power source. It is also a simple high-resolution device that operates with Windows and Mac OS standard USB audio drivers (compatible OS: Windows 7 or higher, Mac OS X V10.6 to macOS10.12Sierra).
Depending on the OS and playback software used, it may be necessary to select (switch) the device as a playback device in the settings, etc.
