The X-Station, available in models featuring 25, 49 or 61 keys (MSRP $599-$999), combines a Novation-class synthesizer, an audio solution, MIDI remote controller, MIDI interface and a multi-effects processor with USB or battery power for extended total mobility. Product highlights include a fully featured audio interface with two phantom-powered, high-quality converters, plus fully assignable controls, an 8-voice polyphonic KS sound source and 200 memories programmed with Novation presets. The X-Station offers zero-latency headphone monitoring, and incorporates a multi-effects processor per input with simultaneous reverb/chorus-phaser/delay/compressor/distortion and EQ.
The truly portable, 25-, 49- or 61-key ReMOTE (MSRP $399-$599) standalone controller/interface features one of the best semi-weighted keyboard actions around, fully assignable controls with 64 template memories, each with over 60 parameters (with over 50 factory preset templates for common software packages), plus dedicated sequencer transport and locate controls. The ReMOTE includes a fully assignable and programmable X/Y touchpad and a pitch bend and programmable mod wheel joystick mechanism with user selectable static/spring-loaded mod wheel action. ReMOTE ships with Windows and Mac USB/MIDI drivers.
