AM&S Introduces New NetCIRA EtherSound Speaker Products at InfoComm 2005

Las Vegas, NV (June 13, 2005) -- At InfoComm 2005, exclusive U.S. distributor American Music & Sound (AM&S) introduced two new loudspeaker products from NetCIRA(tm), a division of Fostex Japan. Enjoying their U.S. debut were the new ES6300 EtherSound-enabled speaker and the cost-effective SH-6 installation speaker.

The new ES6300 is a versatile powered speaker/receiver that receives audio data converted to Digigram EtherSound protocol and employs the exact same 4-inch magnetically shielded full-range driver and chassis as the best-selling Fostex 6301B speaker system. The ES6300, which features a built-in D class power amplifier rated at 10W output, features a rotary volume control on the front and additionally offers remote control of audio channel and volume level using the LR-1 remote via the RJ-45 remote terminal provided.

An additional phone jack input is available on the rear panel of the ES6300 for analog source monitoring, together with a mono phones output. The switching power supply allows for easy worldwide use. The rugged, all-metal, compact enclosure may optionally be bracket-mounted.

The cost-effective SH-6 compact 2-way ceiling-mount speaker provides good sound reproduction via its 6.5-inch coaxial unit. Ideal for speech and background music, it offers quick and easy installation. The SH-6 supports a frequency response of 55Hz - 20kHz and has a rated input of 50W (100W program). Output SPL is 88 dB/W (1 m).

NetCIRA, a division of Fostex Japan, produces network audio products compliant with IEEE 802.3x that utilize standard Ethernet 100baseTX switching and CAT5 cabling for the distribution of up to 64 channels of up to 24 bit/48kHz high-quality audio. AM&S is the exclusive U.S. distributor for NetCIRA.
