Following a Record Year, NAPA Adds New Distributed Products and Expands Staff
Agoura Hills, CA (January 15, 2004) - North American Pro Audio (NAPA) has added two new distribution lines--Focusrite and Novation--to its roster of high-end live performance and installed sound products. Following a record sales year, the Southern California-based importer and distributor has additionally appointed two new staff members to provide support for its expanding range of professional audio, sound contracting, and musical instrument products.
As was recently announced, American Music & Sound (AM&S), represented by NAPA, has been appointed the U.S. distributor for Focusrite brand products.
AM&S is now additionally the U.S. distributor for Novation Digital Music Systems Ltd., an award-winning manufacturer of state-of-the-art electronic musical instruments based in the U.K. that was recently acquired by Focusrite. An industry leader in hardware and software analog modeling synthesizers, controller keyboards, rack-mounting modules, and interfaces, Novation is well known for such products as the Bass Station, Drum Station, and Supernova polyphonic virtual synthesizer.
Stephanie Seimovich has been appointed product specialist for Novation and for all Allen & Heath Xone DJ mixing products. She joins NAPA following a two-year stint at Guitar Center, where she began as a sales associate and rose to the position of High-Tech Products Manager. A DJ with experience in live sound production as well as project studio and location recording, Seimovich will be responsible for providing Novation and Allen & Heath Xone product training as well as sales and technical support to end-users, dealers, and company reps nationwide.
NAPA has also appointed Justin O'Connor as the company's network audio products manager. He joins NAPA from JBL Professional in Northridge, CA where he was the product manager for commercial sound for the past four years. Previous to that he was employed as the product specialist for wireless products at Shure Inc. in Evanston, IL. O'Connor is a graduate in Music Engineering from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL.
O'Connor's responsibilities include general sales and technical support, product training, demonstrations, and some marketing duties for both the Allen & Heath's iDR DSP and NetCIRA by Tascam sound contractor products lines.
The Allen & Heath iDR family of networkable processors, I/O expanders, remote controllers, and switches is designed for installed sound and special project applications. The NetCIRA brand product line from Fostex allows the distribution of up to 64 channels of 24 bit, 48kHz digital audio over standard Ethernet using Cat-5 wires in real time with distribution to over 63,000 NetCIRA devices on a single network.
NAPA has also given Allen & Heath product specialist Dave Lewty, who joined the company shortly after it was established more than two years ago, additional responsibilities as marketing coordinator. Lewty will provide marketing support, trade show coordination, and will be the company's advertising liaison with industry trade publications for all NAPA distributed product lines, which include Allen & Heath professional audio mixing products, KV2 Audio installed and portable live sound loudspeaker systems, Novation Electronic Music Systems, Mark Bass amplification, Hagstrom Guitars, and Walden Guitars.
