Allen & Heath Shows Xone:92 Rotary Version at NAMM Show 2005
Agoura Hills, CA (January 7, 2005) - The rotary fader version of the Allen & Heath Xone:92 professional DJ/club mixer will make its NAMM Show debut at the Anaheim Convention Center (Booth #7019, January 20-23, 2005). Identical in design and features to the Xone:92, Allen & Heath's fastest selling Xone model, the new version features rotary as opposed to linear VCA faders.
The innovative Xone:92 is a four-channel, eight-input mixer, with two stereo returns/mono mic channels, that incorporates the advanced features demanded by today's professional DJs. Xone:92 features a new four-band +6dB EQ with infinite cut on HF and LF and -30dB available on both hi- and lo-mids. Mid EQ provides a wide cut but narrow boost to prevent cumulative gain with all controls at maximum.
A MIDI output offers users the unique ability to manipulate virtually any piece of outboard MIDI equipment from the voltage-controlled faders and filters on the mixer surface. With DJs increasingly incorporating live elements and digital effects into their performances, the MIDI output in the Xone:92 offers DJs the unique ability to manipulate virtually any piece of outboard MIDI equipment from the voltage-controlled faders and filters on the mixer surface.
For additional sound manipulation, Xone:92 incorporates two LFOs with a tap-tempo feature and two independent filter systems. LFO depth, filter resonance, and frequency can be adjusted. Channels can be assigned to either filter, and the voltage controlled filter controls can be linked for simultaneous manipulation of both filters. Each filter can also be controlled by the cross-fader with the LFOs still interacting.
