Third Generation Allen & Heath MixWizard Range Has NAMM Show Debut
Agoura Hills, CA (January 7, 2005) - Allen & Heath's third generation of MixWizard desk/rack mount consoles will make their NAMM Show debut at the Anaheim Convention Center (Booth #7019, January 20-23, 2005). The new WZł12:2, WZł14:4:2, and WZł16:2 mixers utilize the latest technology to add new and improved features to the already well-established versatile functionality and renowned Allen & Heath build quality of the MixWizard range.
Sporting a stylish new look, the new, third generation, compact WZł16:2 and
WZł12:2 feature a dedicated mono output fader, with innovative mode for control of aux fed subs, while the WZł14:4:2 builds on Allen & Heath's pioneering dual-functionality and boasts a 6x2 matrix, a unique feature for a compact mixer.
All MixWizardł models have a new mic preamp design and advanced grounding scheme, which further enhance sonic quality. WZł consoles also feature individual phantom power switches, channel signal indicators, lamp sockets, and backup supply capability. Internal configuration options for channel aux sends and direct output are now on pluggable jumpers for user convenience.
Allen & Heath is also showing the LEDlamp, an 18-inch, 4-pin XLR gooseneck console lamp containing a built-in thumbwheel dimmer. The stylish lamp replaces traditional filament console lamps with more user-friendly cool white light and has the additional advantages of lower heat discharge and less current draw. The LEDlamp is compatible with all ML series, PA series, GL4000 desks and the new MixWizardł range.
