NetCIRA (Network Commercial, Industrial & Residential Audio) is a new brand from the Fostex Company of Japan that brings network audio to a wide market and creates a new price/performance standard for the technology. Ideally suited for both live and installed sound distribution, NetCIRA products are set to become a standard for audio distribution over Ethernet. All NetCIRA products comply with the IEEE 802.3x Ethernet standard, meaning that audio can be transported using standard 100BaseTX switching hubs and CAT5 cable.
