Crowd Goes Wild for Reloop At the BPM Supreme Event
SAN DIEGO, CA – May 20, 2015 – DJ’s gathered from all over the United States to check out Reloop’s RP-8000 turntables and the RMX-33I mixer at the BPM Supreme Meet & Greet featuring special guest Chris Karns, and appearances by IFTW, and DJ Jam.
DJ Jam, a touring DJ who works with artists such as, Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre attended the event as a Reloop endorsee. He showcased the RP-8000 and the RMX-33I and explained to music enthusiasts why Reloop is a one-stop shop for DJ products.
“Reloop offers cutting edge products and stays focused on making things better as a whole. These turntables (RP-8000s) right here are the next 1200s on steroids. They use a lot of the same styles and ideas. Now when I download a song, I spend so much time breaking my own beats. I’m like a kid again,” said Jam.
Chris Karns, a USA/World DMC champion, three-time Red Bull Thre3style winner, and VH1 Master of the Mix finalist, is also fond of the RP-8000. “I have a pair at home (RP-8000s), and I think they are really great. I like the digital pitch that shows the BPM, it’s a really great innovation for a turntable. It has a stronger motor than the Technics 1200, sort of the industry standard, so I can do more musical things without the notes bending and sliding around,” said Karns.
Alexis Web, Content Director for BPM Supreme, was in charge of helping out with the giveaways. Reloop raffled off swag items such as flip-flops, t-shirts and sweatshirts. Reloop also gave away stickers and key chains to as many people as there were items. “When people arrived we checked their name off the RSVP and handed them a raffle ticket, everyone was really excited about the event,” she said.
One of the DJ’s attending the event, DJ Rayted R from Chula Vista, was happy that he could meet and greet others who share the love of his craft. “Good to have a bunch of DJ’s to network with and to show each other what we do. Thanks, BPM Supreme,” he said.
